Shakira has released the first photo of her sweet baby boy Milan – and, not surprisingly, it is beyond adorable. The snapshot features the singer’s soccer star beau, Gerard Piqué, delicately cradling the nearly two-week-old infant while giving him a kiss on the cheek. Milan, who snoozes through his big photo shoot, has brown hair and full lips. The photo is available on the couple’s UNICEF website, where the charity is accepting donations of $5-$110 in honor of Milan's birth, which took place January 22 in Barcelona. “We hope that, in his name, other less privileged children in the world can have their basic needs covered through gifts and donations,” Shakira, 36, and Piqué, 26, said in a statement. “Thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us.” While this is the first time we’ve seen Milan’s face, the “X Factor” judge previously teased us with a glimpse of the baby. A photo posted on Piqué’s WhoSay on January 23 was a close-up of the newborn’s feet, which were adorned with custom Nike high-top sneakers that featured Milan’s name stitched on the side. As for that name, when the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer announced the arrival of Milan, she explained that it means “dear, loving, and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification.” But when we look at him, all we can think of is: “adorable!”

Mr incredible (M.I) & Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to speak at Harvard University

After a 3 year self- imposed hiatus due to business purposes, multiple award winning rapper M.I will on February 21, drop the first single off his upcoming album which is slated for a June release. 10 Governors agrees to Merge APGA, ACN, ANPP, CPC To Form Mega Party

10 governors have today endorsed the merger talks between 4 political parties including ANPP, CPC, ACN and APGA to form a mega party. The announcement was made by the Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha after a 5-hour meeting that held at the government house, Marina Lagos and hosted by Governor Raji Fashola of Lagos. This is perceived by the parties involved in the merger to be a strategic move to wrestle power from the PDP in the 2015 presidential elections particularly. Movie 'House of Gold' by Yvonne Nelson's -featuring Ice Prince, Omawumi

The two music stars are currently shooting a movie produced by Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson titled House of Gold. This will be Ice Prince's first movie feature and it's about a rich polygamist who has just six weeks to live, and all the craziness that happens when he calls all his children, most of whom were born out of wedlock, back home. Eagles player not happy

It has emerged that the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF)are yet to redeem the $15,000 bonus promised to the Super Eagles,if they could defeat Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals of the 2013 African Nations Cup. The Super Eagles have fulfilled their own part,by defeating Ivory Coast 2-1,but the NFF are yet to fulfil their own bargain,owing to a paucity of funds. “We don’t know exactly what is going on. We are still expecting money from the NSC so that we can pay our debt and fulfill other responsibilities to the team. They have done well by reaching the semi-finals and we should show our appreciation,” said the source who spoke to The Punch. It is understood that the NFF are yet to get all the funds they sent to the National Sports Commission for approval,with the NSC releasing only N400m before the tournament kicked-off in South Africa.
